Indigenous Employment Panel (IEP)
SkillsDMC are members of the advisory panel for the Indigenous Employment Panel (IEP) formed by the Australian Government as part of their commitment to halving the gap between Indigenous and non-indigenous employment outcomes within a decade. As part of that commitment, the Government is reforming and improving employment services for Indigenous Australians.
The Employment Panels helps to quip employers with the skills, knowledge and expertise necessary to provide sustainable employment opportunities for Indigenous Australians. It also prepares Indigenous Australians to take up employment opportunities, stay in jobs and enhance their future employment prospects.Projects funded through these panels aim to increase Indigenous Australians.
